Ok Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals are over but it doesn’t mean that future holiday season like Christmas and New Year has fewer exclusive deals and special offers. Yes, I confirm that the biggest discounts for top rated software, VPN services, hosting plans, etc happen during Black Friday season but as a rule many companies just “extend” these great savings for a month or even two. So, it means that all great promo codes and coupons can also be used during the Christmas sale, as a rule.
I have noticed that many top software developers release upgrades and new versions just before the end of the year. In order to attract more potential customers this is just logical to sell more discounted versions of an old version of the software just before the release of the updated version. As a rule, this period coincides with Christmas sales. One good hint I can give, don’t be afraid to buy an old version of the software/service just before the release of the new one as many companies have so called free upgrade policy within approximately 30 days. Eg. you bought a great VPN service on December 25 with the best ever discount and on January 1 a new version has been released, just contact the customer service, provide them the purchase receipt or purchase confirmation email and get your free upgrade. This may be not a good example as almost all VPN services are subscription based and you are eligible for a free upgrade anyway but with other software especially so called “one-time” purchase it should work.
